ComeOn

Finding out background information about ComeOn is trickier that tracking down Lord Lucan, but rest assured that, unlike the mysterious Lord, this is a legitimate enterprise that is working hard to establish itself in the UK bookmaking industry.

All of the basic functions are in place; the website is safe and secure, for example, and accepts a multitude of payment options from UK players. ComeOn pride themselves on making life for punters easier, hence why it is so easy to deposit/withdraw, complete Cash Out transactions and more via their single wallet system.

ComeOn Homepage

However, despite the contemporary design it lacks the bells and whistles of other online bookmaking sites, and a noticeable lack of promotions will deter some. There was a complete absence of horse racing betting until recently (now happily in place) although the greyhounds are still noticeable by their absence.

If you are predominantly a football punter though, then there is plenty to work with here. Both the prices offered and markets covered are first class, and the whole website feels geared towards betting on football.

For high rollers the knowledge that a relaxed maximum daily payout is in place will be of interest, as will the low margin approach that ComeOn has adopted. For others, simply getting decent odds on a wide range of markets will be enough to convince them that signing up using the generous welcome package is a smart move.

Odds & Markets

To get a flavour for what ComeOn can offer punters we’ve done the legwork to see how their odds and market coverage measures up against the competition, and we were not disappointed with what we found.

First things first, we picked out a key Champions League match and compared the prices offered by ComeOn with those presented by their main rivals. Happily, ComeOn were up to the task; they were a fraction off best price for the home team, shared top honours for the draw, and were outright best for the away team. So far, so good.

Comeon Markets

We also investigated their outright prices for golf and tennis tournaments, which should give us a neat overview of what’s up for grabs with the brand.

Golf-wise, not great is the honest answer. We had a look at their odds for the latest European Tour event and compared them with the industry average. Unfortunately, they were rather stingy and a good two or three points down on the competition. The market leader was available at around 14/1 best price elsewhere – ComeOn had him pegged at 10s. In context, that’s a huge difference.

As far as tennis is concerned, we were impressed by the depth of ComeOn’s coverage. They offered plenty of match options for Challenger and ITF level matches, and not all UK bookies do that, but – and it’s a big but – they don’t offer outright tournament prices for non Grand Slam events. That is sacrilege.

So what can we conclude? Well, as far as football and tennis are concerned the market coverage is outstanding, the football odds were competitive too. But if you are fancying an outright flutter on the tennis or golf then you might be better served elsewhere.

Site Usability

In a move that helps the brand stand out from the crowd, ComeOn has gone for a thoroughly modern design that ensures their website is rather easier on the eye than many other online sportsbooks, it is very easy to scan for information.

The navigation of the site is also in fine working order. You can flit between categories at the top of the page, from sports to in-play to casino, and utilise the finer details of navigation down the left-hand side of the screen, where you will find everything you need to place your bets quickly and easily.

Comeon Site Usability

The most popular leagues/competition are listed at the top below the search bar, followed by a selection of dropdown menus covering each sport, and although this is an A-Z list, annoyingly, it only becomes so after the first few categories which are taken up by the most popular sports. It’s only momentarily problematic until you realise what’s going on. In the middle of the page is a collection of In-Plays and Highlights of the day, with a handy scroller enabling the user to flick between sports with ease when looking to stick a live wager on.

There is a lovely smooth action to the website, and the green flashes help to identify key information such as markets and odds. This theme is continued on the mobile website too, which we have to say is one of the most pleasing on the eye of any major online bookmaker.

The app is easy to work with offers plenty of ‘added value’, and as such is a worthy download if you have a compatible Apple or Android device. We especially like the fact you can place your sports bets and play some casino games without having to close the app.

Features

Comeon StatisticsDespite their status as a rough-and-ready sportsbook new to the game, ComeOn offers an impressive array of features:

  • Form & Stats – A brilliant stats module awaits punters who like to do their homework. Pretty much all sports are catered for, and a wealth of market types too. For example, football punters can find out how often certain teams record BTTS, Over/Under 2.5 Goals, various handicap marks and so much more.
  • In-Play Betting – Extensive, that’s the best way to describe ComeOn’s in-play platform, you’ll be amazed at the depth of markets and events on offer. If you fancy a flutter on the Persian Gulf League, for example, you’re in business. All joking aside, football, tennis, basketball, handball, golf, cricket and many more sports are rather well represented.
  • Cash Out – The beloved Cash Out feature is available for single bets and on all markets with the following exceptions; Asian Handicaps, Point Spreads, and Total Goals.
  • Live Commentary – After not providing horse racing bets at all, ComeOn now not only cover UK racing but provide live audio commentary as well. A great way to add a bit of excitement to your bet.

Banking, Payouts & Limits

Banking

As a European-centric bookmaker with a strong focus on the UK market, ComeOn offers a multitude of banking options for players wherever they may be based. Plus, with high banking limits the appeal is strong for signing up to this brand.

Payment Methods

As you would expect from a major bookmaker, ComeOn accepts all manner of payment methods by the way for depositing and withdrawing funds. Visa are well presented here with a variety of credit and debit cards accepted, as are MasterCard. And then there is the multitude of e-wallet systems available across the continent too, with the most pertinent ones for UK players being PayPal, Neteller, paysafecard and Skrill.

Minimum Deposit

The minimum deposit amount accepted by ComeOn is £9, although because of fluctuating exchange rates it will probably be eight pounds something.

Minimum Bet

The minimum bet amount accepted by ComeOn is £0.40p per selection.

Maximum Bet

As with most bookmakers, there is no maximum bet amount explicitly put in place, however, punters can only win a maximum of £100,000 per day. So it’s worth factoring this into your staking plan.

Payout Limits

As stated above, there is a £100,000 payout limit in place. This is only a daily allowance though, so at least the high rollers among you can come back for more the next day.

About ComeOn

Comeon LogoA huge number of players enjoy the suite of products available from Co-Gaming Ltd, so you can expect a healthy sized network of fellow customers at ComeOn. Established in 2009, they have leveraged their position as a reliable online gambling platform to carve a tidy niche out for themselves as a sportsbook that does things a little differently to the big boys.

Of course, all of the regulatory frameworks are in place, and a license granted by the UK Gambling Commission means that you can trust ComeOn to operate fairly and professionally. There is no need to worry about them not being a major brand, your money and details are safe with these guys.

ComeOn is powered by the award-winning SBTech software, which many of Europe’s leading independent bookmakers utilise. This ensures that your gaming experience is a good one, and that you can navigate your way around their site with ease.

ComeOn About Ray ParlourComeOn have managed to work their way into the UK market without any huge advertising campaign or sponsorships of notable football clubs/events (although they do have an arrangement with Arsenal faithful Ray Parlour), so how have they achieved it?

Well, ComeOn are renowned for the depth and breadth of their markets, particularly in football. That’s because they have a pan European customer base who naturally have unique demands as to what is available for them to wager on. The upshot is that UK players can now bet on some rather obscure markets and events which increases the potential for making a profit. We would argue that perhaps only a handful of others offer such a comprehensive selection of sporting events to bet on.

Contact Information

ContactThey may be based in Malta, but ComeOn’s customer support team are easy to get hold of. You can send them a letter if you prefer the pen friend approach, or drop them an email or a tweet, or talk to them in real time (Live Chat is available from 9am to 7pm BST).
